This dress is oversized and super comfortable. It is also completely reversible. The top front of the dress is a textured hand painted cotton batik. It is paired with a black Kona Cotton. There are also pockets!!!

This piece is finished with a combination of French seams and raw fray edges. They are hand-painted, hand-dyed bias and will fray like a pair of cut off jeans with continued washings. It is one size, and fits up to a extra large.

Due to the nature of the process there are variations in dye color. This can only contribute to the beauty and uniqueness of each hand made garment. Because this garment is created with the traditional wax batik process. Wax residue remains embedded in the fabric, giving the waxed portion a bit more structure. This will lessen in time with repeated washing.

To care for this dress, hand wash in cold water, hang dry. Can also be washed on the gentle cycle, and dried on low. Can be ironed if necessary. Sewn with meticulous care in Chicago.
