Hand-felted fine merino wool throw. This textile is created when handmade felt is hand cut into a “lacework”, and layered with fine merino wool. The materials are merged together when wet-felted by hand, using soap, water and friction. The pattern facing side is a combination of varying shades of a blue ombré. The opposite side, is solid white wool, with “ghost impression of the front facing pattern. . Due the nature of the process used to create this textile the edges undulate, and vary slightly in width and length. Many layers of wool give this textile its”hand”. Although substantial, this piece remains thin, lightweight and warm. It undulates and drapes well, and can be used decoratively or functionally. It can also be hung as a wall hanging. It is a great subtle addition for your home or for the textile lover in your life.

This textile can be cleaned in a variety of ways.It can be spot cleaned with soap and water. It can be washed in a "trusted" gentle cycle with room temperature water. Or it can be dry-cleaned. Hang dry. Never wash in hot water or put in the dryer! It also loves a good steam, so it can be "refreshed" with an iron or hand steamer.
