Black silk. Hand felted with fine merino wool in all black on one side, with the. gorgeous silk texture on the other. The wool merged through the silk gives the this scarf an incredible architecture. This textile can be cleaned in a variety of ways. It can be spot cleaned with soap and water. It can be hand-washed cold or washed in a "trusted" gentle cycle with room temperature water. Hang dry. It can be dry-cleaned. It also loves a good steam, so it can be "refreshed" with an iron or hand steamer. Never wash in hot water or put in the dryer! Wear often and in health!
