Hand-felted, hand-dyed silk and fine merino wool shawl. The graphic side of this piece is a combination of  hand-dyed silk in deep purple/blue , olive, periwinkle and black.  The opposite side is a combination of the colors in the aforementioned side all muted by a black wool. This piece can be used in the home as a decorative textile. It can also be worn as a classic shawl, or worn over or in place of a coat . It can also keep you warm during meditations, cozying up on your couch, or around a fire. Each composition is an original painting and is the ultimate wearable statement.Due the nature of the process used to create this textile the edges undulate, and vary slightly in width and length. This textile can be cleaned in a variety of ways. It can be spot cleaned with soap and water. It can be washed in a "trusted" gentle cycle with room temperature water. Or it can be dry-cleaned. Hang dry. Never wash in hot water or put in the dryer! It also loves a good steam, so it can be "refreshed" with an iron or hand steamer.
